What Do The Ingredients in Vanquish Do?

5-HTP or 5-Hydroxytryptophan is an amino acid that occurs naturally in the body. It leads to an increase in levels of serotonin - a neurotransmitter which regulates behavior and mood, and melatonin – a hormone linked with the normal sleep pattern. 5-HTP is used in Vanquish because it is known to reduce anxiety and depression as it is an antidepressant. It is used in the treatment of insomnia, migraine and Fibromyalgia which causes pain in the muscles, tendons and ligaments, severe fatigue and disturbed sleep. It also assists weight loss by reducing appetite. It is found in small amounts in cheese and white meat. Using the supplement in excess can cause side effects like heart valve disease, nausea, etc. and hence it is essential to seek medical advice before using it.
Hoodia Gordonii is a water retaining plant, also known as a succulent, which grows without leafs. Being native to the south of Africa, it has been in use for an indeterminable amount of time as an appetite suppressant. It is very easily identifiable, because the flowers of this plant have a rotten meat odor. The ingredient of the plant which is responsible for the appetite suppressing effects has been named P57. It is a steroidal glycoside which seems to act directly to the central nervous system’s mechanisms and supposedly raises the content of adenosine triphosphate in brain by at least a half. The effects of P57 in trials were registered as capable to reduce food intake by some fifty per cent on a daily basis.
Vitamin B6 is important to a healthy human diet and is equally important in various metabolic and synthesis functions as well as gene expression.
